He went to found his own imprint Tippermusic in 2005 and has released exclusively on that since.
Shpongle
Shpongle
Simon Posford and Raja Ram are Shpongle, a psychedelic ambient project formed in 1996 after they met at Butterfly Studios in Brixton, South London. Simon was working on Purple Om and Raja Ram was working with Graham Wood on The Infinity Project. The two went to the Glastonbury festival and decided to write something downtempo after their experience and Shpongle was born.

The Shpongle sound is a mix of mainly eastern ethnic samples and western contemporary psychedelic synth music. Posford is responsible for the synth and studio work while Raja Ram contributes with flute arrangements and creative sensibilities.

Jade Cicada
Jade Cicada
Jade is a material thought by the ancient Chinese to be crystalized moonlight that has fallen to earth to spread wisdom and peace. Cicadas symbolize rebirth, metamorphosis, and illumination, and with their dying breath sing with such power that their chorus of song is among the loudest in nature. Jade Cicada’s music is a reflection of these ideas, and a constant homage to those who have inspired him.

His journey began away back in 1998 when he started the collaboration with Bacci Productions. In 2001 Shield started working as A&R and promoter for Oxyd Records. In 2006 Shield set up his own record label, Rebirth Records.
As one half of NUfrequency (alongside Cristiano Massera), Shield was responsible for producing the timeless songs ‘Go That Deep’ (featuring the amazing the legendary Shara Nelson) and ‘Fallen Hero’ (featuring Ben Onono) both included in the first album ‘Connected’.

Supersillyus
Supersillyus
Supersillyus is an electronic musician and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. His first full length release, Grampaspaceshuttle, tickled the ears of the electronic community and earned him a spot on LostinSound.org’s Top 5 Newcomer Albums of 2010.

He has spent over a year meticulously crafting his second record Tesselations, which was released through Base Trip Records. With this epic double album, Supersillyus allows listeners to explore highly evolved and extensively layered soundscapes, while shaking their asses to a tasty mix of tribal drums, swirling synths, and the occasional marimba solo.

Tesselations will take the listener on a journey past boundaries of IDM, world beat, and dub, making use of traditions as old as Sanskrit chants or a child’s Saxaboom. Supersillyus is quickly emerging as a pioneer of psychedelic genre-bending, and his whimsical sound offers a unique look inside the mind of a musical wizard.
